ArcGIS Desktop Color Picker Eyedropper Tool
ArcGIS has tons of features, not only about its GIS capabilities, but also other useful tools for many purposes. Some of the tools are usually hidden by default for the GUI simplicity, but once we know how to activate and use those tools, you will be surprised how handy these tools are. for example, I am sure not everyone knows that ArcGIS has an internal color picker tool called eyedropper tool that can be very useful for Cartographic Production. All the cartographers going to needs this tool because it will enable color peeking of finished maps or cartographic products either in vector or raster formats supported in ArcGIS. For example, if you are interested in the online base map color composition currently loaded in the Map View, you can extract the RGB color information using this tool, and re-apply the color into your own map using the symbology tab.
