River Streams Order Network Mapping (Strahler, Shreve, Horton) in QGIS Based on Vector Topology (No DEM needed)
How to perform river / streams network order mapping in QGIS using vector topology approach. Order calculation directly computed from the polylines topology so you don't needs river networks extracted from DEM for this to works. The result will also be more consistent with the field situation because you can use river / stream polyline data from the topographic maps or digitized maps.
