How to Install Deep Learning Framework in ArcGIS Pro 2.5

Deep learning as one of the branch of machine learning has become trend in latest development of geospatial technology. Using Deep Learning, sophisticated image classification that resulting classification result in polygon format has made possible. Deep learning also open for semantic object detection like detection of feature that has unique characteristics in imagery like pools, bridge, wells and many others. Imagery utilization became boundless if we incorporate Deep Learning into geospatial analysis.

ArcGIS Pro as the latest ESRI invention to deal with mainstream GIS business also implement Deep Learning support. With its native integration with Python and Anaconda Framework, Deep Learning made possible in ArcGIS Pro. Many Deep Learning Algorithms has been supported in ArcGIS Pro, ranging from Microsoft CNTK, KERAS, Tensorflow, PyTorch and many others. 

Although available natively in ArcGIS Pro, initially ArcGIS Pro is only support classification and segmentation based on pretrained model and pre-inferenced functions. But started from ArcGIS Pro Version 2.5, ArcGIS Pro now support model training and inferencing as part of its core Deep Learning Workflow. But in order to use these Training Capabilities, external Python and Conda Libraries/Packages needs to be installed in ArcGIS Pro Conda Environment. The installation is easy because all the needed packages already available in Public Conda Repositories. You can install it using Conda and Python Package Installer. Di tepi pantai kok GPS-nya nilai ketinggiannya bukan nol ? mending bro yang saya alami malah nilai ketinggiannya negatif!, hmmmmm pasti GPSnya rusak, mari kita "lembiru" (lempar ganti baru)...... :) GNSS/GPS receiver secara default menggunakan acuan ketinggian (datum) berdasarkan ellipsoid WGS-84 (datum koordinat global), sehingga nilai ketinggian/elevasi yang diperoleh merupakan ketinggian diatas ellipsoid (HAE : Height Above Ellipsoid). Jika GPS yang kita gunakan menggunakan setting ini, maka tidak heran apabila ketika kita survei di pinggir pantai, ketinggiannya tidak nol atau malah mungkin negatif. Hal ini dikarenakan lokasi yang kita survei menurut WGS-84 ketinggiannya bukan nol. Ketinggian yang mendasarkan pada nilai nol diatas garis pantai rata rata disebut dengan MSL (Mean Sea Level). ArcGIS Tile Package Conversion to Mbtiles using tpkutils (Basemap series part 1)

Imagine if all the published basemaps over the internet is not suit to your needs, what you can do?. The answer is simply, just make your own basemaps. And how to make them ? by convert the created map into raster tile package of course. From the created tile package, we can feed it off to map service provider like ArcGIS.com, Mapbox, etc, or just put it on your own server and webgis application/geoportal.
